30 minute timer
Half an hour on one thing, then a chime.

What 30 minutes is good for
Half an hour fits most everyday blocks: a workout, a language lesson, preparing for a meeting, reading a chapter, or a limit on screen time or games.
It's also a good length for study when 25 minutes feels too short. You get five more minutes in the part where you're already warmed up.
Make the half hour count
Write down what you want finished by the chime, in one line. A clear target stops a half hour from drifting. If you finish early, use what's left to check your work or start the next step.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this for a workout?
Yes. Press Start and put the phone or laptop where you can hear it. If your phone locks, the chime may wait until you come back, so keep the screen on.
Can I make the window fill the screen?
Yes. Once the timer is running, the button in the corner of the timer opens a large full-screen view, which is easy to read from across a room.
What happens when I reload the page?
The timer goes back to the start. It doesn't save anything, so leave the tab alone while it runs.
