Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Tasks 'n Timers ("the app") on iOS, Android or the web, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The app

Tasks 'n Timers is a focus timer and task planner. It works on its own, and can optionally connect to Google Tasks to show and update your Google task lists and to back up your focus history in your Google Drive, and, with Pro on iPhone, to Todoist to show and update your Todoist projects and tasks. You agree to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws.

3. Google Tasks and Todoist connections

Connecting Google Tasks or Todoist is optional and uses each service's official APIs. Your data in those services remains yours, and your use of them is also subject to their terms. You can disconnect in the app at any time, and revoke the app's access in your Google or Todoist account settings. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data.

4. Pro

Pro is an optional upgrade, bought in the app through the App Store. There are three plans: Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Pro includes the Todoist connection and up to 3 paid connectors in all, as they are released. Google Tasks stays free.

• Billing and the free week: payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or, if you start with a free week, when the free week ends. To avoid that charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the free week ends.
• Auto-renewal and cancelling: Monthly and Yearly renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; Pro then stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Lifetime: a one-time purchase, with no renewals, that includes every future Pro feature. Other tiers and add-ons sold separately are not included.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• When Pro ends: your Todoist lists stay visible but read-only. Nothing is deleted, and you can disconnect at any time.

5. Your data

Your tasks, focus history and settings are stored on your device and, if you connect Google Tasks or Todoist, in your Google or Todoist account. We don't keep a copy on our servers, so we can't restore data that is lost on your device or removed from your Google or Todoist account. Keep your device and accounts backed up if this data matters to you.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, missed tasks or other damages arising from your use of the app, including loss caused by network issues or by interruptions to third-party services such as Google or Todoist.

7. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and these terms. If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
